This community was created for anyone to post in who has a special interest in worship. You're very welcome to post any songs, poems, etc. that you believe we all might find interesting. You are free to ask questions or comment about something you've been reading in the Bible or elsewhere that you've found interesting.

I have felt lately that we are in a time when believer's really need to begin to see worship, not just as music, but as an opportunity. An opportunity for Christ to shine through what we do and be magnified. It seems as if modern worship has been placed in a box, that was never intended and the church is in dire need of individuals who are passionate about Jesus and desperate to see change. If we, as worshipers, were to take that initial step and begin to create in our worship; spontaneous, fresh, and prophetic worship, I believe that we would begin to see what a powerful gift God has given to his own.

I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation, but as it is written, "Those who have never been told of Him will see, and those who have never heard will understand." - Romans 15:20-21

Our one purpose is His glory. Let His glory be our theme and creativity. Amazing things will happen.

Desperately His,

"At great expense you made yourself my glory and my boast. The cost was infinite by which you made yourself the Treasure of my life. You sent your Son, the blazing center of your beauty and your love. You gave him up to mockery, betrayal, thorns, the whip, the rod, the fists, the nails, and death. For what? To swallow up your wrath, and satisfy your righteousness, and bury all my sins as far as east is from the west and in the deepest sea, so that I might come home and see the galaxy. This is your love, O God, not to make much of me, but do whatever must be done so that I waken to the joy of making much of you through all eternity." - John Piper in "Don't Waste Your Life"
